Press Release Summary: The Voice magazine's publisher is reminding the Body of
Christ that even the purest move of God can go astray and warns believers about
praying for Branham's anointing.

Press Release Body: HALLANDALE BEACH, FLA. (August 16, 2008) - William Branham was a
well-known and controversial prophet from the Voice of Healing movement. His name
has been used in many prophecies lately, particularly by prophets that attended the
Lakeland Revival meetings in Florida with Canadian Evangelist Todd Bentley.

One speaker at the Lakeland Florida Revival, Prophet Paul Cain, has said that
Branham was "the greatest prophet that ever lived." Branham truly was mightily used
of God until he fell into deception.

There are some cautious concerns when comparing Branham's experiences with
Bentley's, according to Jonas Clark, publisher of The Voice magazine, a publication
with a mandate to advance Christian life and culture.

"Braham had incredible crowds attend his meetings, many prophetic words of knowledge
and healings but something went wrong, terribly wrong," Clark said. "Unfortunately,
during the latter years of Branham's ministry he went deep into deception and
thousands questioned his unscriptural teachings. We need to examine some of his
teachings in light of the Lakeland Revival, and we should be careful prophesying
Branham's anointing over others."

One of the unscriptural teachings Clark points out is Branham's claim that he (not
Jesus) was given permission by seven angels to open the Seven Seals of Revelation.
Many of Branham's erroneous teachings came from esoteric experiences through
visions, angelic visitations and encounters with the supernatural, not from the
written Word of God.
